At The Collective Old Oak, we believe that everyone should be able to experience more than just a place to live. Our Discount Market Rent (DMR) homes make it possible to enjoy all the perks of life at The Collective Old Oak at a reduced monthly rate.

As a DMR Member, you'll have access to all the same amenities as everyone else. That means co-working spaces, a gym, a cinema room, shared kitchens, and a packed events calendar designed to bring people together. Whether you're working, working out, or winding down, Old Oak has space for every part of your day.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, DMR Members need to meet certain income and location criteria. The homes are allocated across three income bands:

House Income less than £42,600 per year

House Income less than £56,800 per year

House Income less than £71,000 per year

First priority goes to people who live or work in the Borough of Ealing, and then those of Brent, Harrow and Hillingdon. To qualify, applicants must have lived in the Borough for at least 4 weeks prior to applying. All income limits are reviewed and updated in line with inflation, so they may change slightly over time.

We offer memberships from 3 months to a year. Simply renew your membership if you want to stay longer – and you can renew as many times as you like! 

Absolutely, lots of our members work or run their businesses from our spaces. When you stay or live with us you get access to a workstation in your own ensuite or studio and a huge variety of stylish co-working spaces. All the important essentials are taken care of: from ergonomic seating to printing, meeting rooms, tea points and super fast, secure WIFI. The best thing? It's all included in your rent. 

As long as everyone is over the age of 18, you can come with as many family member as you like. Please be aware that our maximum occupancy for ensuites is 1 person, and for studios is 2 people. 

Of course! As a couple, you can move into our studios or one bed apartments, suited for two.

We love animals, but unfortunately we don't allow them in our spaces. 

The main difference between a Twodio and a Studio is that with a Twodio, you share your kitchenette with one other person and in a Studio, your kitchenette is private. Both Twodios and Studios have their own private bathrooms.

Unfortunately we don't have designated parking for members. 

You can find temporary parking nearby on Shaftesbury Gardens and Midland Terrace. You have to pay Monday-Friday, but it's free at weekends.

Alternatively, you can refer to www.parkopedia.com for parking spaces nearby and garages.

Yes. Your membership is paid monthly, at the start of every month using direct debit. When you receive your licence agreement after paying your deposit, you’ll also receive instructions to set up this direct debit. It’s super easy!
