At The Collective, we believe in supporting our members to reach their full potential, and we’re constantly working towards that goal. This week, The Collective Impact team is launching the Grow Programme, a self-development initiative aimed to support members in becoming the best versions of themselves.
Last week we caught up with Aden, coach and positive mind trainer. Next up in our member spotlights, meet Kevin – a life coach who supports people in finding their purpose.
How do you spend your time?
Kevin: When I’m not coaching or building my own practice, I like to make time for self care, solitude and nature, which help me to recharge. You can often find me on a yoga mat, reading a book or at the gym. I also love to travel and watch live music in my spare time.
What are you passionate about?
Living my truth and finding truth in others, coaching transformation and forming deep, lasting connections. I’ve been on a journey these past few years which has inspired me onto the path I’m on today: to help people become the best version of themselves.
What’s a challenge in your life right now, and how are you dealing with it?
The business side of coaching – building my own practice, the marketing, branding and the logistics can be quite overwhelming. Having worked in big corporate companies for the past 15 years, this is new territory for me!
What’s a goal you have, and how are you working towards it?
To grow my coaching practice and raise my professional profile. I am in the process of creating video content for my website and building my online presence.
Describe the Grow Programme in your own words.
It’s a group support network to help you focus on your goals, get a third-eye perspective, and some accountability for your actions. It’s also a space where you can share a problem or issue you have and be truly listened to.
What have you gained from the Grow Programme? What’s the best part?
For me, the best part is the accountability piece: making a commitment to yourself and the group to do something and then following through with it.
What would you say to someone who’s considering partaking in self development?
Don’t hesitate to get involved in the Grow Programme. It’s a wonderful opportunity to stretch and grow.
Any other thoughts?
I found the Grow Pilot Scheme really fun and engaging. It has demonstrated the power of vulnerability in bringing about deeper connection. ⚉
